Both easy-wearing and sharp, it’s what the Italian courtier, diplomat, and author Baldassare Castiglione must have had in mind when he coined the term sprezzatura to describe effortless nonchalance. It’s crafted from Italian linen from Subalpino, with a crisp handfeel that’s been specially treated to wrinkle less. It has a classic fit, with a natural shoulder and a slightly nipped-in waist. Details include a double vent in the back and a lightweight butterfly lining. There’s also a chest pocket known as a barchetta (Italian for “little boat”) because the sleek curvature of the pocket resembles a small skiff.
