Soft, warm and lightweight, it’s just the thing to keep your head and ears warm, but not itchy or overly hot. “Donegal,” which is named for Donegal County in Ireland, refers to a technique where small pieces of yarn in different colors are woven in at random to create a soft, heathered effect. It features a foldover edge and a slightly higher-than-usual crown to balance out the chunky rib stitch.
